Membership Information

Members of the Department that wish to join the Columbia Association can do so through the NYCAPS Employee Self Service (ESS) application, accessed via Cityshare.  The amounts are fixed and will be taken starting on either the first paycheck of the calendar year or the first paycheck after activating the deduction in ESS.  Please see instructions below.

 

From the DSNY Intranet:

  1. Click on Cityshare
  2. Click on Employee Self-Service from Home menu on the left side of the screen, log-in
  3. Click on the “Pay and Tax Information” title
  4. Click on the left side link “Deduction Information”
  5. Click on DSNY Fraternal Org Dues
  6. Click on Enroll
  7. Select COLUMBIA ASSOCIATION to join.

In addition to purchasing a membership online via ESS for city employees, we are now proud to announce that we are fully digital for memberships. Anyone can purchase or renew a membership online through our new membership portal, and even save your Membership ID to your Apple or Google Wallet! Click below to get started!

  • See your local delegate or visit nyc.gov/ess for online enrollment.

LIFETIME

  • Lifetime memberships are available for retired members in good standing.
